Personally i would go with the group two composition (Priest Heal, pally, boomkin, mage, ele shammy).
My first level 70 toon was a warlock and whilst he brings great damage (if played properly) and a wipe protection with soulstone, and of course healthstones and summons, I think the druid potentially is of more use in the instance itself.
I loved my shaman because of his ability to switch from dps to off healer. THe druid has even more versatility as he can switch to a temporary tank, or to a healer, just think that might make more of a difference for those horrible occasions where you have nearly killed the boss but the tank dies . Moonkin aura will buff the damage of the casters. Although not useful in every instance you have the ability to hibernate certain targets, so a very specific CC, but nice to have in addition to the mage.
A battle res might be useful occasionally too.
I'm not sure if it's as great at higher levels (my druid only dinged 40 last night), but the aoe healing effect (tranquility?) is fantastic.
The final thing that swings it in favour of the druid (for me anyway) is the armour. He's going to take a few hits if he's pulled aggro, which is more likely to give time for a heal to save him. The lock is very very squishy, the number of times I've seen him wiped out before a healer can get to him (of course this was before I was running with a threat meter, and was trying to use soul shatter after I pulled aggro, not before).
