    Default Which three DPS?

Brand new to multiboxing but after many hours of goofing off with my setup, I'm reading to start a serious team.

I'm torn on which, though. Hunter x3, Mage x3, or Warlock x3? (I'm planning on rolling a shaman team later and would like to start with something else.)

Hunter: stupid easy leveling, stupid high DPS. How is a "drag everything over three ice traps" method of instance CC?
Mages: super reliable CC, tank+healer+my 3x team == 5man ezmode. Lower DPS due to more demanding gear requirements.
Warlock: superior CC (IMHO) but much harder to manage. Pets to tank. Lifetap and Health Funnel micromanagement seems like it could be a little complicated.

I've played all three classes to 70 individually (at least once) so I'm aware of how they all work. I'm just torn with which team would be best for a newb looking to get his feet wet.

    Thanks.

I would go with the hunters or the mages but I'd lean towards the hunters.

Time the pulls well and you can try chain trapping up to 3 mobs. (Although may not need to do that many).

Good DPS and feign death for dropping aggro as well as distracting shot to pull mobs of healer.

Steady shot/autoshot and aspect of the viper means long term sustained damage on boss fights.

Chain armour to take a hit while you pop feign death.

Easy mode levelling as you say.
Team: Feral Druid, 3 Ele Shaman, 1 Resto Shaman

    Gimp Team: 4 paladins(13) and a DK(80)

I believe the standard reply is "3x Paladins!!!".

All kidding aside, there are a lot of things to factor in that we won't know.
Best thing to do is just try them, if you don't like them, make a new group.

If you are just starting, you'll spend more time setting up macros anyway so go go go and get started!

    Good luck!

Factors that may not be known:
I'd like to 5man, filling all three "dps" slots. (and possibly K-level raid.)
BG pvp is a plus. I'm confident any of my choices would be suitably entertaining.
Arena will be a joke (as its not 5s I won't have the needed burst to 100-0 someone) but I plan on goofing off in that aspect just for general amusement though.

I have been using this thread as a guide on how to do things and its working great so far. Some /assists /attack /target party1s to work around the limitations but it seems to be working great for my level 3s

Personally I would probably go for 3 arc/fire mages the high crits.. insane AoE is just too much to pass up

If you are just starting out, I strongly recommend multiboxing three mages. Since you've played them before, like I did when I started, you will have a super easy time constructing macro's that work well with your MB'ing play style. I personally found Warlocks to be the second easiest, and Hunters the third. The mage class is probably the easiest class to use to get the feeling of multiboxing before trying other classes, but thats only imo.
