Shamans got enough burst for 3v3? Or other classes?

Anyone 3v3 successfully? Do shamans have enough burst in 3v3 to pull it off right? Or, say, mages? There's so much CC going on in 3v3, you're going to get at least one locked out right away. It definitely lacks the alpha nuke power of 5 shammies.

I have had no success with 3v3 running 3 ele shammy.

5v5 is fun though, 4 shammies and a healer. You could get a couple team mates and wreck some stuff in 5v5.

I do 3v3 with my shamans. It's very frustrating because once you launch your initial attack plan on beling cc'ed out the ass. In order to win you need to drop someone on your first attack. In 3v3 it helps if you drop the healer. If you drop a dps and the healer is still going it will turn into a fight where you cannot keep up dps because you need to heal your guys all the time. And if there is a mage left get ready to be aoe spammed. I found the best way to kill someone when I had 600 spell damage was LB NS CL then Shock. I have around 850 now so it should be easier to kill someone. I think multiboxers shine in 5v5. The only reason I 3v3 is because I only have 3 shaman. I am in the process of leveling 2 more so I can have 5.

So are there any decent 2v2 3v3 combos that would work?

The only one I can think of is possibly 2v2 mage-mage...
