Exactly how much real research was done?? Nothing that has been posted in this thread is anymore "dumbed down" than the entire contents of the Wiki and the available stickies?

    I would still use Focus

    #showtooltip Healing Wave
/cast [target=focustargettarget, help, nodead, exists] Healing Wave; [target=focustarget, help, nodead, exists] Healing Wave; [target=focus, help, nodead, exists] Healing Wave

    or you could use

    /target toon1
    /cast Healing Wave
    /cleartarget

    /target toon2
    /cast Healing Wave
    /cleartarget

    /target toon3
    /cast Healing Wave
    /cleartarget

And hot key them to F1-F3, or whatever you like.
With these 2 macros you have the option to have heal focus, or focus target, and heal each toon in situations where Focus isn't fast enough.

I think focus in healing situations would not be the best for me as /tareget toon 1 would be the better option, that way whoever has mana would heal.

I think I have all the basic macros down, So I'm thinking about making 5 different toons with a pally tank and the rest ranged, that way you can get the best out of the group. With that I would certainly run out of room on the action bars and the difficulty would sky rocket, but I am confident

    cheers

ok I'm going even easier with 5 locks (shammies are boring)

for the pet attack to assist focus target

    "#showtooltip Fireball
    /cast [target=focustarget,harm,nodead] Fireball - Hotkey to whatever.
    "

    what do i change here?

Are you serious? You want me to level your toons for you as well?

    /assist focus
    /cast [modifier:alt] summon voidwalker
    /stopmacro [noharm]
    /petattack
    Comments

/petattack supports macro options so this could be rewritten without the /stopmacro line e.g.
    /cast [modifier:alt] summon voidwalker
    /petattack [target=focustarget,harm]

    is different to

    "#showtooltip Fireball
    /cast [target=focustarget,harm,nodead] Fireball - Hotkey to whatever.

this is why I asked, now I don't see the problem why I asked this? Please, if you cannot help me don't reply. Restrain yourself from pressing that 'reply' button.

All I want to know here is how to change it to the pet attack cmd

Ah, a specific question! Now we're getting somewhere. To answer that, I've had no luck getting [options] to function properly with /petattack. Granted, I only tried it for a few minutes before giving up. Which is why I just use the basic /assist /stopmacro [noharm] /petattack macro.

I guess I could go the long way and do

    /assist focus

and then bind a pet attack key for all

    (toon1)
    /assist focus
    /castsequense petattack,,,
    (toon2)
    /assist focus
    /castsequense ,petattack,,
    (toon3)
    /assist focus
    /castsequense ,,petattack,
    (toon4)
    /assist focus
    /castsequense ,,,petattack

Not 100% if this works but, if it do. The first time you hit the butten toon1's pet will attack then second press toon2's pet will attack so on so far hope this helps
