Hi everyone.
After my first attemt at dual control (AHK) yesterday, I decided today to try myself at 5 boxing after creating 3 free trials.
Even though I'm no beginner at programming or macroing, I want my first 5 man team to be something simple where I can use the same macros for all 4 alts, so I can experiment more around how to build up the macros and see the effect of them.
I am thinking about mages or warlocks, as they are the classes that fits my own playstyle, but I'm having a hard time making my final decision.
I tried 2 warlocks last night and found it to be fun, and I'm thinking that with a team of 5 warlocks, I can get 5 different dots up on a mob by using a castsequence macro that's a little different for each toon. (Mostly to practice creating varied macros)
However, I'm not experienced at playing warlock, and my highest warlock is lvl 20, so my thought and question is:
Is it better to create a class you know in depth, to know the spells and how they work, or is it better to start with a class you have a little less knowledge of, allowing you to learn the spells by experimenting?
I want a 5 man team of the same class, mostly to make it easier for myself to have the same macros for all characters, allowing me to 5 box without having to do too much micro management from the start..
Does this sound like a good thought, or should I go straight into a 5 man team based on the standard 1+1+3 concept?
