Well your post didnt say what speed your ram is now, but here is a quick build from newegg. 2gb ddr2, quad core, and a decent mobo. If you already have DDR2 800, you could get a mobo that has 4 memory slots, and go for 4gb. You might even look into a mobo with a second x16 slot, in case you want more than 2 monitors someday.
