Mage/Paladin

I have a level 33 fire mage on my main account that I've been leveling, and also a level 33 retribution paladin that has been sitting on my alternate account. I figured, why not dual box?

I'm currently questing in Desolace with my mage, I was planning on bringing my pally over there to catch up on the questing. After that, how do you suggest I level?

My pally has pretty decent gear for her level since I ran her through a bunch of instances on my hunter. Armory page: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...n&n=Capitalism (replace the name with Snarfles for my mage).

Should I respec my pally to prot, get a sword and board, and tank mobs while my mage launches fireballs to do quests, or should I AOE grind?

If anyone has suggestions for spec (mage or pally), gear I should get, or leveling methods, please let me know.

I have found that with my 2 shammys and 1 mage that the mage pulls alot of agro, especially when it is just on follow. I am pretty sure it has to do with the close range. I dont know how the pally would do, just try it out and let us know. Or search the forums there might be something here on this very topic.

Do you think the mage would still end up pulling aggro with Righteous Fury on the pally and if I put 2 points into Burning Soul (reducing threat caused by my fires pells by 10%)?

I dont know I have never tried it. But mages do bring alot of dps to the group. Along with alot of other goodies that everyone likes, forexample, water, and sheeps, and ports. I personally love mages, I just dont know how it would work. And even if I did like and it did work for me, it may not work for you. If you read through the forums you will see alot of diverse groups in here. I saw a video the other day of a rogue, war,and shammy combo if I remmebered correctly and in the video it looked like it serously kicked ass. But I personally would never put that combo together because I dont think I could manage it.

There is no right group, there is no wrong group, there is only the right group for you. Try it out and if you like it KICK ASS !!!!!

I would either play the mage as main, fire mage + healadin or the pala as main : retrib pala + frost mage (frost to get less aggro and give more survivability).

Actually for some time, I levelled 2 mages and a healadin and it was a very dynamic team. If I had only 1 mage, I might prefer the retrib pala as you don't find aoe places everywhere. Questing and monotarget is still the main road for levelling.
