keyclones maximizer has completely stopped working for me on one of my PC's. i was using it for almost a year prior to that with absolutely no problem. exactly the same settings on 3 other PC's and it works perfectly (same resolution, same sized monitors, exactly the same hardware on all PC's) . i have tried downloading keyclone again, deleting the settings and setting it up again, downloading premade layouts from the solidice site.. and just about everything else i can think of. nothing works.

its been broken for months now and i can usually ignore not having maximizer on my main PC so i havent bothered posting about it before.. but there are times, like now, when i really could use it and its frustrating that it doesnt work. tried sending keyclone a private message about this but i guess you get a million of those =P

i am absolutely stumped. help please?

really? you sent a PM? hmph. sorry if i missed it.

if you are still having issues with keyclone's maximizer, i can get you set up pretty quick over the phone. just give me a call (or i can call you... PM the info)

before that... go through this check list:
o make sure the 'enable maximizer' is checked
o make sure the region name in the command matches EXACTLY with the region name in the maximizer
o make sure the command runs wow.exe and not launcher.exe
o if you are on vista, remember to run keyclone as administrator (right-click/run-as-admin or set the shortcut properties/advanced)

if you're still stuck... trying removing the keyclone folder and start from scratch. pull down the alpha (link ) and install/run as admin under vista.

if that doesn't help, definitely get in touch with me and i'll see what i can do.

its alright i figured you must have hundreds of PM's from this forum.

tried all of that stuff already. im running XP, SP2.. and im playing Shadowbane, not WoW.. but it is pathed to sb.exe instead of the patcher. the resolution on the shadowbane client is set to the same resolution as maximizer because shadowbane window wont properly resize. im even using the same keyclone version on all 3 PC's (1.8k). all 5 of my PC's run the same drivers and all have identical hard drives (ghosted on an external drive so i can reformat easily). it makes no sense why it works on some and not others. im in Australia, so arranging a time to call might be a pain.. but ill PM you my MSN info incase you use IM? can send you the .ini information, too, if it would help.

hi, ive bin using keyclone for awile but now it stoped working for me, it doesnt forward my keypresses to my other client, dont know if its the program or something else that cause it ?(

if anyone had simmilar problem and solved it i would be glad to get help =)

I am new to Keyclone, and I have a few questions. How would I set up my
movement keys so that I can have movement on the main and not on the
others, but when I switch over to a new screen, making that guy the main, and then have the same movement keys move him and not the others?

go to keyclone/setup/do-not-pass (DNP) and put your movement keys into the list. the keys placed in that list will only be sent to your active wow. don't forget your auto-run hotkey as well. personally, i leave my strafe keys off the list as i want my group to strafe correctly when the time comes... just remember to /follow again

also, if you put WASD on your DNP list, you will probably want a way to pass those keys to all your wows at some point... like doing a /wave, entering your password, or actually trying to talk in unison. in that case, go to keyclone/setup/override-hotkey and set the 'override do-not-pass' hotkey. by default the main override hotkey is PAUSE. i usually set my DNP hotkey to control+pause which appears as LCTRL+CANCEL
