Another thing to do would be disable Quality of Service Packet Scheduler on your network adapters.

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Network > right click on your adapter > Properties

Highlight the "Quality of Service Packet Scheduler" and uninstall or uncheck the box and select OK.

The reasons why that function has been installed by default by microsoft for the last 2 OS releases absolutely baffles me. It has no functionality in 99% of all networks on the planet.
Resto Shaman + 4 DK's, work in progress...

OMG! I can't belive it. I tested my high end guys by running around shatt in circles and didnt have the slightest amount of lag or drop in FPS. Im shocked. My lat on all open instances were 49m/s across the board. I really can't belive it. WOOT! LOL!

On a funny note, I did realize why I kept losing one toon . While everyone was on their epic mounts he was riding his 40 mount. lol Oh well. Im very happy and pleased. I like to thank everyone who responded.

I hope all is well tonight when the server becomes a little heavier. Even though it was at medium currently.

So its still helps to disable the nagle algorithm? The original post mentions that this shouldn't be a problem anymore with wow version 2.3.x and up..

yeah Blizz hasn't done so well with that one, it won't fix all latency issues but can make a big difference!
