Default Retired my Pally, Mages and Priest for 5 shamans

I began to see how complex my other setup was getting and thinking of how it would be even more complex as I traveled to level 70 so I went ahead and just created 5 new Troll Shamans. Just got my Ancesteral Spirit spell and boy do I love this setup so far! As long as one toon can survive no walking back from the grave for me!

I was also finding out how hard it was to play the other toons in battlegrounds. I got super-pwn3d the two times I went in and just got frustrated. PVE was a breeze, though. Hopefully the shamans will be good for both PVE and PVP.

Depends on what you plan to do at 70.

    (1. means it's from Account 1.)

    I started with 1.Warrior + 2.Priest from first release raiding through 60.

Then at TBC, instead of levelling 60 to 70 with warrior and priest, I rolled 1.Pally + 2.Mage.
Somewhere in level 32, I dropped the Mage and used a level 60 Warrior following my 32 Pally (prot).

    1.Warrior (arms) + 2.Pally (prot) was doing great from 60 to 70.

I then thought it would be great to 3-box so I got a 3rd account and transferred 2.Pally to 3.Pally.
By then, I managed to level 1.Rogue to 70 also, but my 2.Priest was still 62. Melee was more fun to level.

I could not handle the melee Warrior or Rogue when 3-boxing, and this was prior to KeyClone.
So I rolled 1.Paladin (holy) from 0 boosted by a 60 Prot Pally.
I then re-spec 2.Priest to Shadow and levelled them with my 3.Pally (prot).

i was 3-boxing instances and doing well but not really able to get badges for better gear.

I then decided to get a 4th account, and moved 1.Warrior to 4.Warrior account.
By then, I got Keyclone and 3 decent computers. Even with the melee (Warrior and Rogue) on auto attack, I was doing well.
But heroics was will hard to do without a "mage" or a more serious dps than a Shadow Priest.

I did see the 5-shaman video doing heroic, but it was a lot of kiting and I realized that My tank with dps/healer from 3 shamans will work out well.

Prior to this, I was able to do normal Ramparts "solo" with my Prot Paladin, so I was excited to boost the shamans in Outland when they hit 55.

Sorry this is long, but when I levelled my 1.Shaman and 2.Shaman, I rolled or picked up my 1.Mage and 2.Mage in the mix. This was because I was enjoying grinding/Farming SM with my Prot Pally + Shaman Windfury + Mage Blizzard. Same setup went all the way to BRD, LBRS and Blood Furnace. Alas I dropped the 2 Mages at level 62 and decided to get the 3 shamans to 70 asap.

As soon as I hit 70, it was all about gearing the shamans up via 5-mans, quests, honor, and weekly "free" arena points.

I've been hitting AV for more honor/hour. The Pally (prot) brings some diversity to my AV as I usually cap Stone Hearth tower, then ride into North or Van if the O is doing well. I would tank Van +1 Marshall with 3 shamans healing me.
