Boosting using a 70 Enhancement Shaman...
I currently have a 20 Priest and 35 Mage, I want to get the Priest up to 35 a bit faster than soloing, if I used my 70 Enhancement Shaman to QUEST "boost", would it be any faster than soloing? I know that I will lose tremendous amounts of xp from the mob kills, but has anyone had a problem using one of their 70's to level an alt like this? Any feedback would be helpful...
Use the 70 to boost your lower level characters through an instance or two a few times.
I've basically boosted my 26 druid to 32 so far running scarlet monastery wings. Nice cash, mobs are tightly packed, and you can reset and run again.
Team: Feral Druid, 3 Ele Shaman, 1 Resto Shaman
Gimp Team: 4 paladins(13) and a DK(80)

How geared is your sham? My rogue (Full season 1) can take lib and cath in 20 mins. My sham (blues and greens) takes lib in 25 and cath in 30. Per run.

I have no prob clearing SM in about 30 mins, but if I was to take my 20 Priest along, would the xp be worth it? I'm trying to see if using my 70 Shaman to run a lowbie through an instance would be faster (maybe better xp) than killing mobs for my Priest to do quests only...
I went there with my 20s. From 20 - 30 it was a lvl in 3 runs. After 30 add like a run or a half a run to each to lvl so 31 is 3.5 runs to lvl, 32 is 4 runs... etc. At 33 you get a quest that should get you a lvl (have to run all three sm and turn in). At 34 the xp at sm takes a drop because 1/3 of the mobs there are around 36 and the other 2/3 are 38/39 and the bosses are 40.

At 35 you have 3 options
1) stay at sm cath till 40 (looking at 5/6 runs for a lvl after 35)
2) ZF takes my rogue about 40 minutes to clear. Haven't tried with sham because after i found out he is slower then rogue i didn't bother. (i skip stairs because no aoe, i can do it but it isn't easy. Best thing to kill in there if you have no aoe are the troll mummies. You click on the gave, you get cash and 1 or 2 mobs attack you. I usually park my toons in the middle of that place and just click all the graves. Easy xp, and they DON'T run).
3) Sunken Temple. I haven't gone this route because i don't know it too well and you have to clear a lot of mobs before you can go into the instance. I heard if you clear where the dragons are it is quick xp and then run out and reset. I might try this for team 1, still thinking about it.
lvl 35-40 runs at sm will take 3 hours per lvl
lvl 35-40 runs at zf will take 3 hours per lvl (better drops and more money, but mobs hit harder, a little more spread out, and cannot do stairs)
lvl 35-40 runs at ST never tried maybe 3 hours too or a little less. They almost have the same lvl range as zf. If someone could help me out on ST that would be great.
