there is a slight problem with split screen if you do it vertically. I think the game itself usually supports at most a 16:9 aspect ratio (widescreen) but running each at 1280 x 512 means ur stretching the game by roughly 40% outside its display capability.

Is rotating your screen on it's side a possibility? If not, horizontal split might be an option.

Or make the individual clients 910x512 and set the in game resolution to the lowest wide screen option. this does mean you will have parts of the screen where you can see through to your desktop, but you can always fill this with a musicplayer or a DVD in miniature :P

sometimes when u adjust it with maximizer, the client will stretch itself like a 4:3 on a 16:9. this is normal. what i was trying to say, is that, at least with me, if i change the res ingame, it will adjust itself, even if it's 800x600, it wont be so stretched again. It may require a restart of the game.

I think what he's asking is whether there's a way to make the game maintain the correct aspect ration even if you resize the window to non-standard formats. I don't know of a way to do this for side-by-side windows.

In my Config.wtf file I use

    SET gxResolution "1280X512"

And it works just fine, although I use it in windowed mode.

This is going to sound ridiculous, but I'm just quoting. Paragraph 4B of the Terms of Use says, "You agree that you will not (i) modify or cause to be modified any files that are a part of the Program or the Service..." Has Blizzard ever said, "Well, when it comes to the config file, we don't really mean what we said"?
