4x SP 1x Disc Priest?

Anyone tried this?

I saw someone post about it awhile back but dont remember anyone claiming this was a great team comp.

I thought about it however, and to me...

4x SWP
4x Mindflays
4x VT

= About 400-500 healing per second for....um....all characters?

Seems to me like being able to damage and heal at the same time, coupled with the slowing effect of mindflay, ability to nuke, and um....5x fear bombs would be really really really brutal.

Anyone seriously considered this team or know of anyone who has reached high end with this makeup? Or maybe even just 5x SP?

I am actually in the process of leveling up a team like that except with a Pali for a tank, but it will be 4 SP when they get higher. I was thinking about the mana/health regen from VE/VT too.

Talk with Morganti, he's the one who ran 5x SPriests. Also think he subbed one for Holy/Disc.

All in all BG he was fucking dominant.
Arenas your glass pea shooters and usually end up on 0-5 losses.
Heroics as Furs said you'll dirt nap more than I did in my entire 8 years of UO combined on 4 accounts.
Normal Runs you might be able to pull off with some practice and gimmicks.

If your just planning on doing BG's / Dailies / World PvP this would be an AWESOME group imo. Anything beyond... GL & HF.

Well we can only assume as he doesn't make any clear indication as to his idea of 'high end.' Imo high end can refer to 2300+ in Areana... Sunwell Raiding... Solo Heroics.

He didn't specifically specifiy either. He said "high end" so I just went with PvE, as almost all ranged class are obvioulsy dominate in BGs when played x5. Its a no brainer.

Sorry, forgot to specify. This obviously isnt a PVE comp, as there is no tank and SPs are super squishy.

I agree they would rock BG/PVE. But do we have anyone who has reported taking 4x/5x SP team to arenas? I know they are squishy, but maybe with some creative LOS, skill and clever macros I still see them being dangerous.

Like I said talk with Morganti about SPriest groups in Arena 5s. Think he had about 3-4 weeks of solid 0-5 losses every game. Theres no Alpha Burst. It could be done... I just don't see it being sucessful.
