Now I'm totally hooked on this "multibox lark" i feel its time to upgrade my system to run all 5 at once.
my current setup is a follows:
Gigabyte Aruora 3D Tower Case
Enermax Galaxy EGX850EWL 850W Modular PSU
2x NorthQ 92mm SilentFan BlueLED

Tuniq 120 Tower CPU Cooler

2x Pioneer DVR212BK 18x DVD±R/±RW (Black) SATA
3x Akasa Serial ATA 45cm Silver Data Cable

Running Windows Vista Ultimate 64Bit
Wow is setup to run in symbolic link mode.
I have tried adding an additional monitor (1280x1024) and the fps dropped from mid 60's to 30's and lower - (my main was running 1,920x1200 on the main monitor and the four additional accounts were running on the 19" @ 640x512 each)
so I'm currently running the 4 slave accounts off this machine and my main off an old Athlon64 3200 with 19" screen (connected with Keyclone).
now here is my question:
If I were to add an additional graphics card (say an 9800GX2 - as I'm unable to get hold of an identical 8800 Ultra XT) could I run the main 24" screen on the new card @ 1,920x1200 and purchase 2x 22" Widescreen monitors (that rotate through 90") and put one each side of my main screen. these screens would be running 1050x1680 (as they are rotated) and would be running off my original 8800 Ultra (two accounts on each screen @ 1050x840).
In theory this should work OK, but I'm unsure if the SLI on the GX2 would be an issue (might have to disable it).
Has anyone else on the forums come across a similar setup, as any recommendations would be welcome.
sorry about the long post..
