Sadly, the only thing the dogs are known for is running underneath the desks and unplugging Suvega's XKeys.

The important ones are named -- Spike (main PC), Cujo (shuttle PC), Sparky (laptop)... Rex was my old "main" PC.

The 3 acrylic boxes are just named "A", "B", and "C" for a lack of originality. I just can't think of any names that fit.

Do the clear cases suck up and show a lot of dust? My computers tend to be vaccuum cleaners... so much dust sucked up. I wanted to move to acrylic cases, but always thought the dust would be a problem (cosmetic problem of course).
Honestly, my aluminum case from my main PC (Spike) which is about 6 months YOUNGER than the acrylic ones -- had more dust in it.

    O.o

Not exactly explainable, but I haven't seen excessive dust buildup in the acrylic cases. Perhaps the acrylic is less likely to have dust "stick"?

I've noticed my aluminum cases attract a lot of dust. Maybe its some weird static field thing. Good info on the plastic though. Honestly I want to move to a compete rack mount setup, but its just sooooo expensive.
Well I will tell you that those little acrylic screws HURT after putting 3 cases together, and it took me twice as long to put 3 cases together than it did for Suvega's 4 aluminum ones.

I do think they look snazzy though.

Looks amazing! Can't believe the cables are so tidy even thou there is 6 more computers more there than there are at my desk! and if you would compare cable mess.. you'd think mine have the most =(

might post some pictures soon, as both hardware and characters evolved a lot !

I think the key to thier success here is that they can actually get to thier computers on all sides. Most people have thier desk up against a wall, with the computers against the wall as well.... The free standing "open" setup makes things really easy to maintain.
QFT. When something goes wrong we just pull out the couch to get easy access to the back of the computer. Beats crawling under the desk.

Rackmount either a) doesn't have room for a vid card or b) has heating issues imo.
(assuming you don't have a dedicated A/C like most server rooms)

The bigger cat (Sahara) beats up the german shepherd (Athena).
