    Default Morganti's Setup

Here ya go....I finally got some pics. Pretty standard as far as the monitors, but I was able to split my setup into 2 rooms. One room has all the monitors and 1 tower, 1 keyboard, and 1 mouse (and N52), and the other room has 4 towers and the networking equipment. I use multiplicity to control the different machines with the one keyboard/mouse/n52 which saves a ton on desk space. Also the noise and the heat are mostly confined to the spare room where the towers and switches reside

The single PC in the room with the monitors is one I built. It's an AMD 64 1.8Ghz with a gig of RAM in a Lian Li case. Geforce 6800GS I believe. It's actually not the "best" of my machines, but it's been my main for awhile and is solid, so I keep it in the seat of honor.

The 4 in the spare room (from top to bottom):

A shuttle PC on top (there's a gig switch on top of it that got cut off in the pic) that's pretty new. Gig of RAM, Intel dual core, a newer geforce card (7600 I think?). Good little machine, small footprint, noisy as hell. Was about 550ish dollars.

Next is another home built one (I have it's twin running MCE and hooked to my 32" HDTV across the room from where the 5 monitors are). Comparable hardware to the Lian Li in the main room.

The BUFF below it is about a 5 year old alienware that I've kind of upgraded along the way. It's definitely the weakest of my machines, but it runs the game fine so I haven't sent it out to pasture yet. It's a 1.1Ghz AMD with a gig of RAM and a geforce 5700 (I think). It has the original motherboard and CPU...I've added RAM and changed the vid card, but it still gets the job done.

The small silver machine is a new Dell. AMD dual core, 2 gigs of RAM, one of the newer ATI cards (I hate ATI, but they had no option for a geforce). It has been fine so far (I know there are some Dell haters out there) considering the price (around 600).

The monitors are all Dell 17" except for the Acer in the center (which I recently purchased).

N52 Nostromo, MX518 Mouse, Dell Keyboard, a few APC UPS's, Cable modem, cheap little wireless/wired router, 3com gig switch.

I was sitting here thinking "wow, that's a snazzy little keyboard sitting just ahead of the main one, under the centre screen"....

I've been working too hard lately

I guess you can call a TV remote a keyboard....technically....
