    Default Everyone with good /played

I'm gonna roll 5 shamans now and I would like to know the most efficient way to level them.
When I did my druids it was just so much slower then whats "normal".

Not to brag but to prove a point, before i started boxing i had leveled alot of chars to 60/70, record 1-70 is 7 days 4hours, and that's before 2.3 patch (leveling change).

But like i've said I'm not very fast while boxing. Should I do dropquests? If I don't do them I loose _alot_ of quests cus of all the chains. Is instances efficient? What zones should I stay out of etc.

I know some of you people have got really nice /played to 70 while boxing, tell me how you did

    Thanks beforehand.

    Wow.
Why wow? I know the post may sound noobish but I would rather do some research before I start, then when I'm 70 and realise that I could have saved 25% of my /played time.

    Thx for the link Marathon.

I think that is the point, he is inferring that you should do some research before asking for help. There is a ton of info on this site about the question you just asked. It's one of the more popular questions. Also, if you read every post on the forum and still have questions at least you have a better base understand of how to best ask your question.

In reference to your original question; personally I have always taken the 'long way' to leveling. For example I leveled my EU Warlock 66 to 69 ONLY by grinding voidwalkers in Nagrand. Why? When I turned 70 I already had the full Frostweave Set and I had 4 stacks of Primal Shadow left over. I also got enough Netherweave to level tailoring and fist aid on 2 toons. My point is, take the most comfortable approach for your situation. I did the 60 Quillboar tusk quest on all 5 toons because I needed Linen, Wool and I could farm a buttload of blood shards at the same time.

how bout just enjoying the game and don't worry if its 6 days (my druid to 70) or 11 days (my 5xsham team to 63 so far) the point is to enjoy yourself.. and when you start killing 70's at 60... you will feel better anyway
Vantek, Vantol, Vantal, Vantol, Vantel.. yeah.. no Vantil.... bite me, im a moron...

i think u can take advantage of ur experience on leveling, and do the math. Also, many of us know almost all leveling quests, and u always know which gathering quests are harder and which are quick. There's the gather quest in Un'goro that i simply ignore (Bloodpetal's ftl), but there are some that are just 100% drop. There are also other quests, that, may give an awfull droprate, but it might have some skinning involved or something.... and sometimes grinding is good, also keep in mind that those gathering quests were made for that purpose, grind xp and ajust it more to the area ur on. If ur short on XP do them, if u think u can get along the lvl without it, skip the pain..i guess.

I hit 70 on my four shaman last Thursday with 10d /played. This is with sporatic play over some months. I have boosted the four shamans almost all the way to 58, doing some questing in between to break up the monotony. From 58 onwards I did quests with an eye on rep and xp and went through the zone dungeons once or twice, which nicely covers the loss of kill xp compared to a single player. When I hit 70, I already had the pvp rep noob gear in my bags, ready to be equipped.
