Best classes for instance runs in 3 man setup

I am running a 3 toon setup at the moment and things have hapened that will stop me going 5 toons for a month or so, what would be the best group for instance runs in a 3 man setup, at the moment I use a paly as a tank, and two mages for dps, should I remove one mage and use something else, or remove both mages.

for successful doing instances you definitely need healer, dps and some kind of tank

you can do group with setup like war/dru tank, priest/pala/dru/shammy healer and some kind of dps

or 2 dps and healer, it will be hard for 3-boxing tho because not that good dps as healer+4 dps

I would suggest using a Warlock or Hunter's pet to do your tanking.

I am currently using Priest/Mage/Warlock and I find that my VW does a pretty good job of tanking. My biggest problem is agro management. If my VW can't keep agro it's a pretty quick wipe...

I have done fairly well in instances with this combination, but for some bosses like Archaedas in Uldaman you really need an off-tank.
