I have sort of the inverse problem. My tankadin is the big dog in my group, which works out very well. My dps are 2 levels lower (for reasons mentioned several times) but now they don't get the same xp for mobs and have no chance to catch up. At this low level (20s currently) and low gear available my dps (mage and lock) get a 90% threat warning from Omen sometimes :/ Even being 2 levels down. This is a pain when starting a new instance, as far as quests go. I just hand level my lowbies a bit when I get a MB headache :P Something you might now have thought, cuz' it may be stupid, but I have 2 whole sets of macros in all of my toons macro list. That way I can use 2, 3 or 4 toons if I want just by swapping macros around. I keep the same type macros (i.e. follow, nuke, and heal) in the same place as my normal keys but this lets me pick different leaders. I did this initially because I have my gatherers as different toons than my main and I can't figure out how to see the nodes on my main toon's map :P
