- Prot. If you are questing to level, the mage and shaman will be more than enough dps. If you are instancing, you will want to be prot.
- Very good question and it will more than likely come down to what suits your leveling style the best. Azeroth you can stick with elemental (don't go enh, it will complicate things). Once in outland, you might need to go resto if you plan on instance leveling.
- yes. It will take practice, but my current setup is 1xpaly, 1xpriest, and 3xmage. I have my priest specced holy so I essentialy have 5 aoes. At level 28-31 they aoe farmed RFK without issues. The key to this is letting your paly get at least 1-2 consecrations in befoe hitting the mage aoe. If your mage does grab aoe, use your paladin's aoe taunt.
- With the right amount of gear and planning, anything is possible. My wife and I cleared most of SFK at level 24 just running a rogue and paladin. We were at the point of being twinks (due to my 5 boxing every instance prior to and including SFK + enchanting), and we both knew the instance very well. Now can you do heroics 5 man? or even any of the outland instances. Not with heroic/badge gear no. T5/6 sure.
