APC Battery Backup System with LCD Display

I just picked up two of these bad boys. My power isnt always so stable because all the power lines where I live are above ground on poles so wind/ice storms can cause problems. It rarely goes out but I do get alot of brief half second power surges/brownouts. The real cool thing I like about these battery backup units is the LCD display will tell you what your current load is among many other things.

I like APC but their software is horrible when you need to monitor multiple units. Fortunately, open source software is available to bridge the gap.
