    Default Easy Badge Farming ????

Trying to figure out where I should spend my time practicing / gearing my shaman. Im running the standard prot pali + 4 ele shaman(may respec 1 resto)

    Currently Ive got on farm:
    1st boss Ramps
    2nd Boss Ramps
    1st Boss SP
    2nd Boss SP

    Ive tried and failed at:
    3rd boss SP
1st boss mech(not the mini bosses) heard this is quite easy but trash in there is doing my head in.

currerntly 4 badges a day seems a bit low, Id like to get it nearer to 10 so any and all advice is very welcome

The last boss in SP should be easy if you have poison cleansing totem bound to a key on your main char (or an alt char but with a stopcasting on that char before placing it.), and whenever he does the aoe poison, immidiatly drop the totem (stop your current cast for it.) All the while being close to each other, yet in a bit of a cirlce.

Just a tip, I've not tried the end boss as a multibox on heroic so can't judge that well, but I have done it plenty as a shaman solo playing. And dropping poison cleansing straight up really saves the day. (As well as taking the druids NR buff and putting down the NR totem.)

full ramp full SP full steamvault... 1st in MT and sethekk. 11 badges/day
if you wanna get more badges you can do the 2 first in bota aswell tho beware of spellreflect.

in ramp use your pally as tank on 1st boss, on 2nd boss just stand togheter. use groundings and wrath totems and youll kill him before the noob aura is casted... 3rd boss you might need to skip your paly and get a mage or somethin. anyways i use to stomp totems in the middle of the circle before i kill the last guard, then i just stomp earth eles and nuke the dragon 1st (in the air) if your low on dps just do some pvp for a bit of upgrades.

this is my daily route since its a fast run and easy too...

good luck and hope it helps

I agree, having done it myself recently... respec a Shaman to Resto and you'll have a much easier time with things.
Just make yourself some stopcasting + heal macros like:

    /stopcasting
    /cast [target=focus] Healing Wave

or however you do your targeting. Then you can keep DPSing on trash and heal as needed, on bosses I just drag off my DPS macros from my resto Shaman and do 100% healing.

One thing worth mentioning : The last bosses of SP and Ramp aren't just 1 extra badge each, they drop descent elemental shammy epics.
Another boss worth farming is the first boss of MGT. (yes normal is a pain to do for the attunement) He drops a really nice dagger.
The trash is a real pain until u get it right, but doable. The boss himself is also pretty easy, i let my tank build aggro for 3secs, then pop fire elems. (GotN on the tank here if draenei) Then pop heroism, and start DPS on the crystal the second he starts drawing from it. (you should get it down before he reaches 40%) when he starts AoEing, tank him in your group and do a couple of chain heals to keep the group up. He should be dead by the time he is done drawing from the second crystal.
This is the heroics i farm each day for epics and badges. If i have time for more badges i do botanica.

Another great tip in general for heroics is that you have ALOT of heroism/bloodlust use them on any pulls with 4 or more mobs. You only need a maximum of 2 on a boss anyhow.
    Mulitboxing four shamen.

I tried this, but in Heroics the tank needs near-constant healing (Druid or Pally). So I pretty much never DPS with my Resto shaman in instances. Well, sometimes I drop a searing totem... :P
Right, I meant to say put the /stopcasting macros on your DPSers (at least I cannot solo heal with just 1 resto shammy on Heroics yet).
But on some trash pulls, especially when you have most of the mobs down, I like to throw some DPS with my resto shammy too just to finish the fight faster.

BTW on trash I use Flametongue from Resto Shammy instead of Searing as it helps with aggro on my Paladin tank and is reliable unlike Windfury (which probably adds more threat over time, but you're not guaranteed a proc). I do drop Windfury instead on bosses where I don't need 4x Grounding since you can give more time to build up a threat lead.

Yep... I'm at only 1100ish buffed so I have a bit of a hard time healing with just 1 char, and have to toss in some quick LHW from time to time to keep up on the harder pulls.

1st boss in Mana Tombs is pretty easy with a tank + shammy group ( with right gear ). Its a pure shadow resist fight for the MT, my MT is made up of various green xxx of Shadow Protection gear. Giving about 11k hp, and 375 Shadow resist, means that he hard takes any dmg at heroic level. And grounding totems are a must. Not much trash either, so about 15-20 mins for that badge.

1st and 2nd boss of Slave Pens are pretty doable as well, haven't tried 3rd yet

1st boss of Mechanar, just make sure you purge or when the do the enrage buff.

3rd boss of Mechanar (drops epics as well) is not a lot different from normal. As long as you have ranged dps, the Arcane explosion doesn't do much dmg, and that mind control is irritating but not a problem. Generally for me is a dps race to 20%, then easy from there. takes approx 45secs to reach that point if nothing goes wrong

1st boss of Ramparts ( haven't tried 2nd n 3rd yet ). Pretty easy tank and spank fight

All 3 bosses in Steamvault aren't a lot different from normal as well, but admittedly, a Paladin with consecration makes 2nd boss easy as pie

Haven't tried the rest properly, usually takes me a few wipes to learn positioning and techniques. And I've noticed, as the gear gets better (for the MT) the fights get a little easier.

So, thats approx 7-8 badges / day per toon.
    Tankadin and 4 lighting rods
