    Default Need Octopus Support (Scrub)

So i'm trying out dual boxing. Right now I have a War/Shm combo which i just run using 2 comps 2 keyboards, but i'm trying to upgrade to something a little less calorie intensive. I opted for octopus cause its free and has received decent reviews(and since i'm trying it out Free is important)

Ok down to the real question.

I picked up Octopus and read the tutorial (which really isn't much) and the problem i'm having is the client and server computers aren't communicating with each other. To test if it was just the program or the computers i downloaded kavoom and the mouse/keyboard work fine with it.

So when i hit connect on my server computer i get

    mouse hook installed
    keyboard hook installed
    127.0.0.1 connected
    connected to localhost: 7612
    127.0.0.1 identified as localhost

(its the same for both comps if they are "server")

When i hit "connect" on my client it just fails to connect to 7612.

So, ya, dunno what else to add. If you need more info to help me trouble shoot let me know. kkthnx!

No, use "server" on your main and "client" (with the main's puter name/IP) for your alt.

[edit] Don't forget to go to the "client" tab on both and add the WoW window title to your list, like the tutorials say.
    Now playing: WoW (Garona)
