Just thought I would post something interesting for the tech heads out there.....
I am currently leveling a Priest / Hunter combo - nothing special there...
However one of my PCs (my laptop) is running Ubuntu Linux 8.04 and wine instead of windows.
Tonight I plan on going home and seeing if I can make Multiplicity work on the Ubuntu box.
WoW runs about the same on the Ubuntu box as it did when I had windows installed - so if I can make Multiplicity work it will be really sweet.
I may not get it working but so far in my quest to dump windows Ubuntu has been an outstanding success - 99% of stuff worked straight out of the box with zero config - and the few things I did have to configure or fix were made very easy by the excellent Ubuntu forums......its something I would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind a steep learning curve.
Is anyone else running WoW on a Linux box? and if so what software have to got to aid multiboxing?
Cheers
Port.
