Default Looking for a UnitFrame type addon which will let me see *only* my five in a raid

I currently use Pitbull on my main PC, as it makes it incredibly easy to see all 5 Warlocks and all 5 Minions at once, plus it can display casting bars for each Warlock and target-units for each, so I can make sure they're earning their keep without having to check the second PC all the time

However, I'm getting close to mooching into AV and I'd still like to see my 5 Warlocks and their pets, even if we're not in the same group.
I don't want to display all 40 unit frames, as I'm not gonna be healing the other 35

Is there anything that can filter raid unit frames based on a set of names, for instance, or guild, something like that?

What does everyone else do when raiding?

[edit] Nevermind. Didn't see the "even if we're not in the same group" thing. :P

Ah, but what if I join AV and we're spread over multiple groups and the Raid Leader won't re-group us?

Or is it acting on the "group" prior to joining the raid?

Edit: I would just go and try it but I'd rather not have my first multi-boxing AV sat in the cave, fiddling with Pitbull and being reported

I use pitbull, and when i'm in a raid I just use the blizzard intereface to display my alts.

Open your raid tab and click and drag your alts name to your screen. You should see a little unit frame pop up. It's not pretty and doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it should at least allow you to monitor their health/mana.

Other than that, i'm not sure.

With ag_unitframes you can define your own groups. So you can create your own group "myBox" by specifying the names of your chars and you get your own custom group.

If you are queuing as a group of 5 you should get lead 99% of the time rarely will you not get it. Now if you use preform enabler i see this being an on going problem. I usually just ask and peopel will give me lead or move me.

I use X-Perl frames on my standard WoW install I use for normal playing (raiding etc), and I know that you can display the party frames in raids along with the raidframes, and even disable the raidframes if you want to.

I'm considering using X-Perl for multiboxing as well.

if you are the 'only' 'pre-made' group in a BG you are also the leader in that battleground

often when queueing in with my 5 shammy's im the leader, yet still most are scattered around groups
but you got the power to change the orders and regroup them into yours

ONLY reason for you NOT to be leader, is if someone else using 'join as party' got in before you did...
90% of the time they are a 'premade' group too.. and will usually respond well if you ask them to regroup you

    +1

I use that as well. Or spam the raid leader to give me lead.
The last thing the enemy will see is my Muzzle Flash of Freedom!

    Agh! So close
Went and downloaded ag_unitframes r62957 from Curse and, just as you say, you can define your own raid groups, by playername. Very cool!

    Unfortunately, a couple of issues...
I can't see a way to display player pets in a raid
It doesn't seem to support party targets, either

Thanks for the suggestion anyway, all I need is that feature transplanted into PitBull

For now, I'll stick with Pitbull and, in raids, will filter for Warlocks/Shammies only and ignore the other players.
