    Default Pet Control Macro help

Just for fun I made a team of 3 hunters, and was trying to figure out a way to ensure that the pets all go after the mob that my main is targeting. So far I've come up with:

    /cleartarget
    /assist Nelfone
    /startattack [target=target]
    /petattack [target=target]

The /cleartarget is to prevent my alts from tab-targeting the wrong mob due to lag.
Now this works great, as long as Nelfone (yes, I went there ) is alive.
Is there a way to check if he's alive? Something like /cleartarget [target=Nelfone, nodead]?
Would that work or is there another way?
I'm at work right now so I can't test it out for myself. Gonna do that once I get home.

I use focus for my target and alt assignments, but one thing I learned is that once your main dies, you can still have control over what your mobs are targeting.

Whenever my main dies (he is the tank) I just click again on the target we were attacking and continue my attacks. So you should not have to do a check to see if your main is alive, because as long as you continue to target something, your alts will continue to attack.

    This should work I think

    /assist {target=Nelfone, nodead] {target=Nelftwo, nodead] {target=Nelfthree, nodead]
