I could conceivably run 2 instances on my desktop (and have often done so in the past) but I would rather use 2 separate machines since I have them available.
Seriously - Ubuntu is "the shit". The more I look into stuff the more I realize that you can do everything needed with it, 90% of stuff is free and open source OR you can just use the windows version with wine......Linux is seriously becoming a mature desktop OS and not just something for sys admins and super nerds.
Still requires a bit of re-learning to break out of the Microsoft addiction - but once you kick the MS habbit its pure pleasure.
