I will give it a go tonight.
Personally my Linux box runs wow just as well as it did under windows.
The ONLY thing that doesnt work is holding shift and clicking on my bags to open them all. I have to press shift+B instead. Certainly not enough of an issue to make me want to run windows.
Overall I am very impressed with Ubuntu 8.04. Before its release I was running 7.10. I had issues with the graphics card, issues with a few other things, trouble playing some types of video and a few other issues that I had to sort out manually. My bluetooth mouse didn't work at all and had issues getting Wine to install..... - so I kept my windows vista partition....
When 8.04 came out - I was so impressed with how smoothly everything installed and "just worked" that I ended up formating my drive to a single partition, dumping my vista all together and running only Ubuntu.
I got wine going in minutes, Wow going 5 minutes after that and everything else has been smooth sailing.......
As tech I find the difference in application of the same set of technologies very helpful in making me understand how that technology actually works (instead of how Microsoft wants you to use it)
So looks like I shall be trying Synergy tonight....failing that I will stick to just using 2 mice / keyboards and a lot of Macros.
