    Default Tribox team

    Hi!

I'm new to multi-boxing. I'd like to start a tribox team to quest, explore dungeons, and pvp (world pvp - attacking the other faction cities and perhaps battlegrounds, not arenas at this time). I did a search on the forums and I found discussions for people forming tribox teams and having fun with them. What class combination would be best to do this? When I create the characters I'd like to dodge complications in the long run by asking early. For example I made a priest, mage and warlock team then it dawned on me squishy characters might not work too well against a boss in a dungeon. Then I made a three-hunter team (thinking it would be like 6 "people" hitting a mob) and realized not having a healer might cause me problems later on.

I'm asking for opinions because I do not have a level 70 character so I do not know how functional a combination of classes will be end-game or the limitations I'll be facing. I understand I cannot do heroics but will I be able to do most dungeons, even if it means I have to wait a few levels?

The second question: would I be better able to accomplish my goals if I quadboxed instead (I can hear the yes coming lol)? What class combination would be best for a quad (I read the 4 shammys aren't enough for dungeons). I prefer to tribox because of the screen placement (I'm using one computer/monitor). My monitor has a 1920x1200 resolution and unless I'm doing something wrong (entirely possible) one of the boxes ends up being very small (I can barely see the toon).

Thanks...I appreciate the help and advice.

Hello! welcome to the forum btw. Im pretty new my self. But i do have alot of experience from lvl 70 and end game pre tbc.
Every class got the advantage in some stage of the game. And i would personaly say its also own taste what you would like to do. I mean
Its not fun to play a game with some chars that you dont really like. And EVEN if some chars are maby not the best at that part of the game
you could even mange it if you really enjoy it even if its maby abit more work. And if you would like to tri box or quad box its really up to you
and what you are looking for in this game. I would say that tri box is inuff to clear most instanses with the right setup and some good
handling. What i would think of would probly be Paladin[TANK] since its the best tank for multiboxing with more adds and not keeping a big
eye out all the time for adds. And After that you probly would need a healer of your choise. And Maby the easyiest would be as an dps Range.
I dont know if this helped you out, but maby got you started.
Good luck what ever u deside to do!

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Yes, your response did help, thank you. I read in different discussions where people were having fun with a team but then realized they made an error setting up their team (like not having a tank for instances). I suppose I should stop worrying about making a mistake and have fun.

    Thanks again!
