Analysis of Ellay's new video and questions

Eurocomp = resto druid, discipline priest, lock, mage, rogue

THis is a 2 healer group.

They are really tough because they CC the hell out of you. Heres the list that keeps you locked down Cyclone,Cheap Shot, Sap, Blind, 2XFear, Deathcoil, Warlock Pet Silence, Counterspell, and Sheep.

The rogue usually opens up like Ellay talks about in this video. The others then zerg to CC the group, usually followed by a fear bomb to disorient the group then a cyclone on the healer. In the meantime the Mage is winding up to nuke you down. Re-applying Grounding totems is not an option at this point because the Water Elemental, Moonfire, Ice Lance make quick work of them. Not to mention that theres probably another fear on its way. But amazingly its UBER easy to beat. Put some pressure on the rouge to distract healing before the mage and fear bombs arrive. The first chance you get I trinket out of whatever damn CC they had going on and purge nuked the mage. Its all over from there. A very chaotic fight, but ones the mage is gone they've got nothing.

As Ellay has pointed out on the 3 healer groups, your main concern is DPS. Drop the 1 DPS and be aware of potential resurrections and its gg. Theyre going to send in the Wariror first, So I usually cast the usual opener Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Frost Shock (I dont like melee running around me). Against this group unless the warrior isnt geared theres a great chance he's still alive...Purge purge purge. As the healers move In I cast one set of lightning bolts at the shaman (hes the softest, and the grounding totem is annoying every 15s), Two things happen at this point. The shaman usually runs, the other healers heal him. This is the moment of opportunity to purge nuke the hunter or warrior. Your healer should have no problem keeping you up in this fight, but throw in a heal if you need to. Purging against these targets does some nasty damage, they're losing thousands of HP because of the MoW, Fort, and Kings buffs. Once a DPS is down, heal if you need to and stop drop the searing totems to mitigate res attempts. If youre OOM, which happens if thiings dont go perfectly to plan, go drink or wait on regen. 1 Dps will have a hell of a time killing you with all your totems down and healer up.

Thats just how I've been doing it and its working like a charm. Watch Ellay's video if you havent, he goes over all this...priceless I tell you PRICELESS!!!!

Where does the term "Eurocomp" come from? European competition?

Europe calls it the RogueDrood or similar to that, basically the team was never utilized in U.S. and it was all over the place in Europe and was easily #1 on most brackets. It became a huge flavor of the month in the U.S when people tried it out and realized it completely destroyed 2345 and 2346 which were all you would see in a top 20 listing.

So basically it became the counter against the best teams out there.
Triple Melee or Cleave came along and destroyed Eurocomp to offset them.
Triple Healer counter comps Triple Melee and 2345 can usually beat both of these.

It's a weird cycle of rock paper scissors with skill usually resulting in the win at the end. Luckily there is no counter comp for Quad Shaman

these guys with gear are ridiculous to me LOL theres at least 3 teams on Ruin like this now and its ridiculous, they just rush in, heroism and burn people down, with aoe and directed spells at whoever they please.

Fight fire with Fire drop fire nova totems and blow your cooldowns as long as their grounding totem isn't down, if it is use 1 shock and go for the mages aoeing, you have the potential of dropping 2 this way.

not going to lie, this team demolished me, and I had no chance. 3 mages target different shamans and counterspell. by the time they are back, my main is dead because he is bursted veay easily by 5 DPS with a huge amount of dmg lol

Thing that annoys me the most, is many cry stated this is cheating etc. They never stopped to think just how long Ellay worked hard in achieving this and that it’s well earned. Not many have the ambition to go this far. The amount of time, work different strategies and changes made to make this happen is true dedication. No one understands this.
