Default Couple of quick keyclone ?s

... questions, not quest turn ins

both questions are related to keyclone's built-in maximizer function.

1). There's something very unintuitive to me about how the function keys to switch windows work. This is almost certainly more a criticism of what I find intuitive than of keyclone, but if someone could give me a quick explanation of what's going on there it would be helpful. I'm not talking about how to set them up, I'm pretty sure I've got them set up just fine. I just can't figure out the pattern of how the screens are swapping/not swapping when I press the quick-key assignments.

2). Suppose I want to set up two or three totally different maximiser configurations... one for my 4-man shaman team, and another totally different layout for my 3-man hunter team, and maybe a third layout for when I do my priest/druid dual-boxing. How would I go about this? It occurs to me that I could just do seperate keyclone installs, each with their own shortcuts, but I wanted to check and see if there was a more "proper" way to go about it.

    Thanks again,

    Knobley

    Default

the pip hotkey is attached to a pip and the original window in that region.
when you hit the hotkey, that window will be brought to your current region
hitting the same key more then once within the same region will do nothing, as the requested window is already there

as for maximizer layouts, you can use the import / export capability within maximizer
(there is a bug in v1.8j with the layouts not exporting the resolution for each reigon.. that has been fixed with v1.8k)

i hore that answers your question. if not, feel free to drop me a note.

    have a great day,

Okay I think I finally got the window swapping worked out.

As for the configurations, I've gone with the multiple install option. It's easy to set up, and the program is small enough that the extra disk space is no concern, it's working like a charm, and it's easy for me to keep straight.

    Thanks,

    Knobley
