    Default Wireless Keyboard Question

Hello all, i've been lurking the forums for awhile now, and have just finished my 3-box setup on the cheap. Things seem to be going great, until someone starts talking to me. :/

My basic setup is... 3 comps, 3 monitors, 3 wireless keyboards and mice. I've remapped the "/" command on the 2 follower boxes, and all the reply to tell keys have also been remapped. however, when I reply to someone sending me a tell, my 2 followers just start going crazy, say I reply with "meet me at SM" my 2 followers will:

(this is only an example, this isn't exactly what they do, but you get the idea I hope)
    open their maps (m)
    ignore the two (e)s
then bring up a /tell line and try to send a tell to ( me at SM).

I hope this makes sense heh. Anyway, was hoping someone that is using multiple wireless keyboards all on the same frequency could tell me how they resolved this issue. If that means no chatting, then how do I dissuade those guys who insist I'm a bot? When they see:

    /Qihan says "I'm not a bot"
    /Yihan says "I'm not a bot"
    /Vihan says "I'm not a bot"

all att the same time, it really isn't convincing them. Thanks for any and all help!

yes, all keys that can open chat, reply, tell, say, etc have been remapped now. Problem is that my 2 followers still have keys mapped for map, character screen, etc. so if I am replying and have an "m" or a "c" etc in my chat, it broadcasts that to the followers and they will open their map, or their character screen, or whatever corresponds to a key i'm typing to reply with. It's kind of annoying heh. :?

Buy a cheap PS2 keyboard, plug that in and do chatting on that, Viola.

in keyclone, you would just hit the override button (or associated key) and it would stop broadcasting to the clones.

but with a hardware setup, you'd have to stop sending the signals to the other keyboards somehow.

This is how I do it. In fact, I bought one of these (http://www.amazon.com/Allsop-Metal-C.../dp/B000FNPNO0) to put my typing keyboard on to save desk space as my desk doesn't have a keyboard tray underneath it. Wide enough to fit over full-width keyboards. Works good.

    About £3...

    Better solution for OP:

Make custom channel, bind the bots reply key to a normal open chat key. So if normal reply key is R bind R to open chat (or same as enter). Then when you start chatting from main the alts just chat in their own channel, doesn't disturb anyone but also catches random keys that open things. Worst one I had was hit the 25m cool down power on a following Warrior.

I always just remove all the default key bindings on my clones.

    nice... 3 pounds == ~ $5-6 ...pretty cheap.

in the stores here (the US), i haven't seen any for less then $10.
on the net i have seen them for $7, but only in volumes of 40 or more.
