Thread: Hardware issues

So I recently bought a Q6600 for all my multiboxing needs. Got a zalaman color in there as well. I have the heatsink in properly, the AS5 in properly. When I go to start up 4 copies of wow, my cores go up to about 63-59 cores 0-3. Is that normal?

I've OC'd mine using a Zalman 9500 cooler @ 3.0GHz and it typically sits at 50-55C in WoW and goes up to about 70C under quad-core torture-testing using apps like Ortho or Prime95. Sounds about right to me.
    Now playing: WoW (Garona)

Sounds about right. Mine hover around the 54-58 mark with the stock cooler, but the room where I am at is kind of cool. If the temps seem a little high for you, specially taking into account it is a Zalman, you may want to reseat the heatsink, re-applying the thermic compound if applicable/necessary.
