my 4 shammies are tailors at the moment,

I just sold 2 Primal Mooncloth cooldowns which was 16 cloth for 1200g took

I have my old main char a tailor who i need to respec from shadowweave to mooncloth so that would make it 10 cloth per cooldown.

I have have another multiboxing team which is 1 priest and 4 warlocks doing tailoring too, im aiming for 20 cloth every cooldown

If you're going to pvp with them, make sure that you have at least one leatherworker that has the drums of panic. The day before yesterday I was doing WSG with a multiboxer friend and he got shred to bits by a single aoe mage. Having a fear ability will help with dealing with those nasty blink - frost nova - arcane explosion mages.

For my first 5 box team I just went with:

    main - skinning/mining

    alt1 - tailoing

    alt2- enchanting

    alt3- jewelcrafting

    alt4 - leatherworking

so far it is working on nicely. My enchanting and gathering are always kept at the max since I level mostly with instances. The things I make with jewelcrafting are DEable so that makes enchanting that much easier and also helps suplement the cost (JC is a pain to level). Like majestic said, tailoring is always a good choice. I'm going to take his advice and put tailoring on all my alts because 1)the are all cloth casters and 2)cooldowns are a great source of income.

Only must imho is enchanting. Rest is whatever you fancy.

Personally I went for the 3 gathering professions and Alchemist for my own pots.

Having Alchemy on all your alts might be a good idea too. Turning 3g primal earth to 30g primal water x 4 a day is nice money. Cloth only sells for about 50g per. So you get 2 every 4 days (3 days and 20 hours) that is 110g (100g for the spec - 30 for primals, 100 for the other non spec - 60 for primals) every 4 days per toon. Alchemy you get 108g per 4 days (27g x 4) Plus if your a transmute master it could proc giving you up to another 4 per proc. If transmute master procs once it beats tailoring. The thing that i noticed on my server i almost never put primals up twice, cloth sometimes doesn't sell.

On my clothie team i have enchanting and tailoring on them; main tank has herb and alchemy, and my 4 sham i am going to have enchanting and alchemy. Enchanting is nice cause at 350 you can get +24 spell damage to the rings. I know that lvling enchanting is not cheap and the +24 is not worth it, but enchanting did have a daily de turning a 20g void into 2 crystals that sell for 30g. They took that daily cd off so now the crystals are cheaper, but hopefully in the new expansion they have the daily cd back. My master plan hopefully before the expansion comes out is that i can power lvl my clothies to 70 and get good money doing dailies and stuff and then power lvl their alchemy to 375 and them to 70.

I have to say that profession-leveling is a big pain when it comes to multiboxing ... At the moment I have:

    Main: Herbalism / Skinning
    Alt 1: Tailoring / Letherworking
    Alt 2: Mining
    Alt 3: Jewelcrafting / Letherworking
Alt 4: Enchanting / Alchemy / First Aid

    1) I wanted to do blacksmithing on alt 2, but since I miss a bunch of veins since Im mining with an alt, the mats are only enough to supply the jewelcrafter.
    2) Everytime I have gathered enough mats it takes me a good hour to visit all profession-trainers and then trade the right mats to the right alt as well as buying the extra "ingredieents" needed.

I dont want to go back and do the proffesion-leveling once I hit 70, so I try to keep the spirit up during that last (boring) hour of the night when I level my professions.

Tell me about it. I am doing high lvl instances so i am lvling my professions faster then my toon can learn them, but the 1 hour for each toon is crazy. Enchanting is the worse because you cannot set it to do multiple creates. The other profession that kills me is first aid. I know that first aid is easy to lvl but not that many horde instances has wool as a easy drop. Linen is so easy in RFC and silk like 4 silk every other drop in sm cath, but only walk away with 6 wool in a sm library run. I can't remember how much gold i spent too buying wool. Also doesn't help that my toons are also tailors. Well off to zf now hopefully the mageweave is the same drop rate as silk in sm cath.

Do tell, I have literally over 100 stacks of wool in my guild bank/bank toon, never thought to put them up on the cross-faction AH.

I've settled on gathering/enchanting for a lot of my alts - I'm going 3-box soon, and I figure i'll just load up my guild bank with mats until my guys hit 60, then they can get jobs. I have 3 guild bank tabs full now, and working on each character's bank slots - I have stacks of ore, gems, shards, dust, meat, leather, cloth, herbs, you name it! I rarely buy anything off the AH, I usually have plenty.

I just realized the other day I have the mats to get several toons to revered at least with the Darkmoon Faire.

I gave up professions for now, because I constantly found that I was either learning recipes/skills I could'nt use yet, or needed mats in zones I was'nt running yet - the advanced curve from multi-boxing throws the professions grind out of whack. i'm just going to worry about it later.

Deadmines has a really good mix of linen and wool. Just go there with a higher level toon and you should have plenty in a couple hours.
