For the record, I'm extremely new to this as well, and I live in the pc world and not the mac world... but it sounds like you're expectations are pretty realistic.
One other step is the practice step... multiboxing is taking me a bit of getting used to, but the challenge is making wow more fun again. Simple things like, remembering to suspend broadcasting keystrokes while chating, takes a bit to become second nature.
Last night I couldn't get a one of my accounts to respond and it took me forever to figure out that somehow his "Say" dialog was open. The keys were being transmitted to him, but they were just populating his "say" dialog. (Still not sure how that one account's "say" dialog got opened.)
So the one step that I think you left out of your list is the practice/tweek step... but for me... that's a big part of the fun.![]()
