Default A couple quick questions from a new boxer.

I've just started boxing with 3 computers, A Shaman, Warrior and Priest. ( I picked these three, because ive never played the classes, and thought this would be the most fun setup)
So far for macro's Ive got setup.
    for priest/shaman
    Heal Tank(focus)
    Heal Shm
    Heal Priest
and vise versa for the two.
As well as Nuke Focustarget for both

Im stuck at work trying to write more as I speak, Im making up a few more to buff, and shield.

I got the multibox addon (that auto accepts everything on slaves and auto follows, I cant think of the name atm but I have to say, this is by far my favorite addon)

Basically atm I just do everything I need/want with the warrior, and occasionally reach over and hit Z to heal, X to Nuke, or C to Heal Priest/Shaman.

This is about as automated as I think i can make it without clone keys.

One of my main questions is, Once the shaman gets a tad higher, I refine my Macros, and get more into the swing of things... I'd like to make the shaman Melee more. Are there any suggestions for making it easier running 2 melee? Maybe some highly needed macro's for it? or would it probably be more wise to leave him a caster until 40 or so, and worry about it then?

Or does anyone have any suggestions for any other Macro's I should look into making?

Other than that, im having a TON of fun with these three. Everytime I get a new macro working right, it gets a little funner

Thanks for any suggestions, and I have to say this site's been a HUGE help. I wouldnt have half my macro's or be half as far so far

Setting up melee is not easy. That being said, there are several ways to accomplish what you need to do. In my experience, the most effective way to do this is to set up spammable macros like the following. (I like to spam hamstring in pvp, so this is an example)

    Warrior button 1

    /cast [nocombat] Charge
    /cast Heroic Strike
    /cast Hamstring
    /startattack

Shaman button 1 (Assuming you have the warrior as your focus- you could jsut type his name in the follow command)

    /startattack
    /cast [target=focustarget] Earth Shock
    /follow focus

Note that this will require to be continually positioning around the mob- it is often effective to run through it and stop on the far side. There have been several threads lately about multiboxing melee teams- check em out with the search tool if you want more info.
    PUGS- the other wipe meet

Druid and 4x Shammies on Boulderfist (Stackin & Thedeck, of <RAGE>)

Awesome. Thanks. I'll give that a shot.

I use focus for my main. I use /cast [target=focus-target] DPSSpell for my DPS. No assist, nothing, just that spell. I use /cast [target=focus-target-target] HealingSpell for my heals. No heal each char, just that heal. It helps incase your alts pull aggro. The heal works the same for the tank or alts. I just don't like targeting people or mobs, I just let the macros do it for me. It makes it easier since I can use same macro for any char.
