Hmm, it looks as if the power supply shown has a 20+4 pin connector, which will work fine with that board. Most power supplies will have a 20+4, so you should be okay.

As far as raid 0, I'd personally get a single WD 10k raptor instead (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136012), but that is just personal preference.

If you decide to just go with a single sata drive besides the raptor, I'd go with Seagate instead. WD's high capacity drives have been known to fail a bit more

And as far as the ram, I would agree and only use the 2 gigs of matching sticks over the 3 gigs.
