I think im done doing instances til outlands... when doing like SM, i get maybe 1/4 lvl.. maybe a little less per run.. in the same time i can do 3/4 of a level to a full level of questing i might try like strat though, just for fun the trash in ZF kicked the crap outa me at 45 though.. i am the suck
Felt the same. I am trying to find quests I never did before. Its quite fun to lookup quests in an area on wowhead and just go for them. (gathering included)

Did mostly DM, Stokade and SM but it got quite boring fast since I had already those those a gazilion of times using my mage to help guildies.

But gonna do BRD, LBRS, Scholo, Stratholme and Dire Maul a lot. Also because I want the pally mount :whistling:

My team of four is level 28/29 atm.

I've been powerleveling them with my 70 'lock in SM Cath for 6 levels. Cath sets up well for SoC, so I went there instead of library/gy.

Its about 3 - 4 clears for a level. I can clear it comfortably in 20 mins. (I'm sure it can be done faster.)

I can't imagine generating a sustained 10k exp per 20 minute (30k per hour) rate questing at this level. While it gets mind numbingly boring, it sure feels like there's nothing more efficient. (I'm not looting, btw.)

When I get bored, I do some PvP with my 'lock. Thinking I'll do this until SM Cath wears out (38'ish?). I may try ZF, but I'll admit I've not been there in ages and I'm not sure when my 'lock's PL'ing ability will stop working. (I can get owned doing SM if I somehow lose a SoC and get 5+ mobs on me.)

At sm cath you get nice xp from 29 - 35 then it isn't that good anymore. When i was 29-34 was lvling every 3rd run. 35-36 now 4 runs. So 36-40 will probably be 5 runs to lvl. The mobs are like 37-39 there and boss is 40.

It takes my rogue about 20 minutes to clear it, with looting and de stuff. As soon as i don't need silk anymore i am out of there. I have grinned that place from so long that i am screwing up pulls. My team almost wiped yesterday because i forgot to kill 2 mobs and when i agro the boss the 2 mobs attacked my team. didn't notice this until i was put asleep. By the time i got to my guys they where all dead but the priest (thank god). They where 35 at the time so there agro range is much shorter now.

Race to 60? Hehe - Monday is a public holiday here in Australia - 3 day weekend. Just have to find some excuse to pack the missus off to the in-laws, out-laws or by-laws (by order of preference I guess) and I'm set.

I call your hinterlands and raise you a Searing Gorge, i usually HATE searing gorge, but man.. i just did every quest there in like 2.5 hours.. did around a lvl and half of XP.. by far the best zone i have quested in as a multiboxer...

Only quest i skipped was the crystal spider legs...

Yep - Searing Gorge was excellent.

As to Dustwallow Marsh, I think I outlevelled it - I stopped in Stonard to get my lvl50 skills and there were no non-low-level quests to be had.

    Thanks for this post!!

I do collection quests sometimes, depends what mood i'm in and if i know where i'm going.
I did Hinterlands for like a 2 level increase.
I just cleared 7 quests in searing gorge in 27 minutes. An easy 3/4 of a level.

My locks are now 48½, got anymore hot tips for killing quests zones up to 60?

    Nogbog,

It's amazing - it changed radically from Hinterlands onward. Hinterlands - excellent all kill quests. Searing Gorge - ditto, another great zone. The same goes for Felwood (Horde side anyway) another bunch of excellent quests. Western Plaguelands - brilliant - a small number of long running chains which are all multiboxer friendly and reward a ridiculous amount of XP - the Bulwark quests especially (Chromies quests inside Andorhal are good up to a point but devolve into collection quests pretty quickly). Top that off with a number of the quests in Winterspring and Silithus and from level 48 onwards there's really no reason to do any instances any more. I did BRD but it was a big mistake - it would have been MUCH faster to just quest it all out.

    Horde ftw

    Are most multiboxers horde?
I was checking out wowhead and yeah, felwood looks like a goer.
Any word on what un'goro is like? Its been a while since i been there.

So this is the list so far for a good run of kill quests. (I'm still only 48 so feel free to correct me on the level ranges)

    45-46 Hinterlands
    46-48 Searing Gorge
    48-50 Felwood
    50 Western Plaguelands
    55 Eastern Plaguelands
    58 Winterspring
    58 Silithus
