Keyclone questions

Im desperate for total complete unity, and well uhh just learned the only way to have all your characters move insync ontop of eachother is with keyclone.

With keyclone am I able to just have whatever happens in one WoW, on the keyboard transmit to all other WoWs on computer? any setup? Is it able to do single comp setups? I was hoping to just have 4 copies of one thing, exactly in unity or near it >.< Thanks

you will have to understand how multi-boxing works a bit.. with statements like 'exactly in unity' and 'total complete unity'.. it would seem your expectations are perfect cloning, which is possible... with one caveat.

the caveat being ... you can synchronize your characters to face the exact same direction from the exact same location. and by exact, i mean perfectly.. down to the hundredth of a degree. once that is done, then all turns, strafes, and movements will be mimic'd and they will be on top of each other.

of course... then comes the reality of boxing in wow. you WILL get hit with something that will scatter your characters.. or rotate them... causing their headings or position to get out of sync. if you were use to just moving your characters like you moved your main, and their headings and positions are not in sync, they will just end up more scattered and you will wipe.

the solution we all use is to utilize /follow in game, and be as ready as possible to recover from your group getting scattered.

the other factor is dealing with losing your main. many boxers fall apart at this point... and the alts just stand there once the main goes down (or they scatter as the user tries to move them at once). the solution here is to use focus for your main and being able to quickly switch your mains. the faster you're able to recover from losing your main, the more likely you are to survive the battle.

I'm currently using a 24" screen with one full screen view and four 2" x 3" screens... I use five macros allow with the same keys to switch PiP F1 - F5. When I switch during battle the screen has to render and I fall apart and all 5 die. Any suggestions? Scrap the whole method? I need instant if I am to continue with this technique. Thx for the help!

Suppose I could add more info to enlighten you. I have a 2.4 GHz AMD Dual-core, 4 GB RAM, 512 MB DDR3 Video RAM, and a second 19" screen I removed because DirectX was having issues going with two seperate screens. In Maximizer I'm currently using 1-to-1 and just tried using 800x600 this morning to reassure myself before posting. I think I got everything now. And changing how I operate is okay with me. Just want to find a good technique to kick ass with!

if you need faster swap then 2-5 seconds, talk to blizzard... there isn't much keyclone can do to help with their internal processes.

btw, if you want to see the effect without keyclone... run wow in windowed mode, resize to something small.
then go to desktop/ properties/ appearance/ effects and UNCHECK 'show window contents while dragging' .. hit ok...

then resize your wow from very small to very big (don't just full screen... drag it to almost full screen).
wow's rendering happens at that point

good point, forgot to check that. Do you have any suggestions for better adapting? I have a 24" and a 19". Thinking about buying another 24" but unsure as to how that will work? Would it be pixel for pixel when using 2 24" as one display?

one thought to improve performance on the swap would be to make sure all your details are set to low

wow in-game graphic detail macros (helps performance)

if you are in pvp, you shouldn't care about seeing the grass
(although render distance might be something to tweak)

of course, dropping your overall resolution also helps as it reduces the amount wow needs to re-render internally
