Default Talent spec for 39 mages

I'm gearing my mages for some BG action at level 39. I'd appreciate some input on builds.

I'm going fire because I just dig it. Here's my take

I've skipped Burning Soul 'cus I reckon at least one of them should be able to get a cast off and I skipped Blazing Speed because I think it will be more of a hinderance than a help unless it procs on all three simultaneously.

    Thoughts?

I'm sorry but seems to me that the European Site is breaking into pieces, I tried to rebuild it with the american site. I used the 0000000... thing and copied it

    Here hop it's the same

The reasons you've mentioned are making sence. But Burning soul seems to be cool too, even if there are more than 1, AoE could push their spell back as well, und that's often the way against a MB. And the faster you're doing the dmg the faster is your oponent down at least your spec is perfect, except of Burning Soul (in my opinion even as Boxer not worthless).

But I think nothing would stand long enough to push your spell so hard back I don't have mage experience (PvP) but burning soul sounds, quite well.

sorry, I wrote a wholebunchofcrap and wanted to delete it - I rambled on about a frost build but realised after I posted it that it just wouldn't work in a multibox team as well as it could solo.

Yeah thought about it too, but he wanted to get feedback to his fire built so I gave it to him^^

The survivabilty of Ice comes with Frost barrier but it could be very cool if you cast blizzard w/ your main and with the alts frostbold ^^

Even cooler is Frostnova + Blink(all) turn with main and go a bit towards the enemy set follow (alts turn) and cast FB with extra crit it's cool, if the enemy comes too close Bam Cone of Cold^^

Edit: Why bunch of crap? with a little creative Playstyle it's quite cool^^

lol - of course I'm being an idiot - I have to make the mind shift away from my setup where the mages are the alts. For a 5 mage team then 1 frost whose the leader would be unstoppable:

39 Frosty for the main build

Yeah you could alter the specs from main to clones to be impressively effective

almsot worth rolling a couple of mages to try this out, it would be so scary in PvP

1 Deep Frost main to keep them 30 yards away and 4 heavy crit fire mages nuking them to death, it would be a great PvE group too. You'd never get touched.

Heh, I was all set to come in here and ask what your 40th toon's spec would be as it would be the only one that mattered after 39 arcane explosions went off.

Armory Eenie on Turalyon(US) and Donblanco on Magtheridon for the general specs I like using. I think they're pretty close to the same. I've had pretty good luck in their crappy gear. I tried frost on one of the 4 and on all 4 and was wholly unimpressed. Before the change where a crit would break frost nova/frostbite, they were hell on wheels. After the change, you only get one, maybe 2 to crit before the root breaks, which is less than useful. With fire, you're not dependent on roots.
