Hey Rob,

Too many problems with anything above version g. Two of my machines experience intermittent lockups quite often. The laptop seems to die about every hour or so requiring a reboot. The XP desktop does better, but still has its share of problems.

if you have a problem, a public post accomplishes what, exactly?
you think it pressures me into acting? if anything, it does the opposite... as it would anyone on these forums.

this does not help resolve an issue i have never personally seen on all the machines i have.
not even once. why is that?

no specs.
no repeatable sequence.
no symptom of the 'lock-up'... does wow clock up? keyclone? windows?

without any information... how, exactly, would you expect for it to be resolved... if that is truly the intention of your post

Hi Rob,

My most likely "unintentional" reason for the post at the time was to blow off some steam to tell you the truth. I spent several hours this last weekend rebooting my machines, restarting WoW, re-installing Keyclone, re-configuring Keyclone. Ever since version i came out, I've had a lot of problems. I've been coming back to the forums and have seen several other posts as well with other players having the same issues. I've seen several posts that you reply to saying that you can't duplicate the problem.

I'm not attempting to "pressure" you into acting or doing anything else. My intentions are to let you know that I'm having some issues. I apologize if it upsets you. I know that you're always releasing new versions. I would recommend that you put up a sticky stating whatever it is that you need or whatever will help you troubleshoot problems.

I'll send you whatever information you'd like to help figure out the problem, but I don't know what you need. Is there a log of some sort that will help you? What specific information would you like? I can send you complete details of all my machines. I'm sure there are utilities out there that will provide a complete list of applications and services running on a machine along with full system specs. Just tell me what you want.

I really don't understand why there is a huge difference between version g and the newest versions. But version g is much more stable for me. It also seems to cut down on lag between my machines.

lag between machines? how is that? at MOST you are sending 100 keys/second between machines... and the latencies i'm seeing on my lan is <1ms.

please make sure you are running v1.8j ... NOT v1.8h ... on all machines

if you still have problems... send me a PM and i'll help you out. please include: system specs, keyclone system-id, symptom of the problem, how to reproduce it, and anything else you may think relevant (ie: wow addons loaded... memory usage...)
