Monitor or game image settings got messed up somehow.

Kedash00[/url] mentioned: you have to use the EXACT resolution, like 800×600. If that's off by only one, say 799×599 or so, then WoW can't handle it. It must be connected to the newer KC maximizer version, when the author added the dropdown menu... so just use a res, that's supported by WoW, like I use (see above). On a 1920×1680 screen, I have one 1280×1024 and two 640×512 windows. Works great with WoW. I actually played around with the values when I installed the 1.8i version of KC, and it was off by one too, so I got a squished image, checked the maximizer and corrected the values. It also may be connected to a later patch version.. /shrug not sure.

Thanks for the input, next chance I get to mess around with the maximizer settings I'll see if that will help. I just hate to have all that screen real estate, but not be able to cover it all up with smaller resolutions/window sizes.

The problem is, its also happening when I am not using KC/maximizer to play. As I wrote before, when I log into my main, I do it from another folder group. I have my 5 box group in a different folder structure so I wouldn't mess up my mains set up tweaking around with my 5box group macros, key binds etc. So, as usual, I log into my main in windowed mode, and resize the window to fit the entire left side monitor. Now, when I do that resize, it will expand the window diagonally, at the point I need to stretch it sideways to fit side to side is when it starts also stretching the image, it didn't do that before, I was able to resize it and the image would stay the same, just the window size would change. I don't know what changed, something in wow 2.4.2 maybe ?

I tried the (wide) resolution options in wow, but then its just not tall enough and when I try to make it tall enough to fit, it resizes larger then the single monitor and part of it moves over to the second monitor which doesn't work either...

Despite the monitor problems, my girls where able to clear Gnomer and the shamen got matching dresses this weekend, except for my pali, she got the mail quest reward pants ( I think she might be butch :P ) /cheer
