And do you really care what they think?
^^^This

I ignore anyone who tries to troll me in game. Because I tend to fly under the radar (I multibox at off-peak hours, don't PvP with them, run instances almost exclusively) I very rarely get noticed at all. Most people who do notice me either do not say anything, or they say it in the general channels (which I have turned off on all of my accounts), or their replies are benign or friendly. Now and then I get someone who says something like "lol loser" and I don't respond. Either he doesn't understand what he is seeing, or is just being a jerk, or whatever... it doesn't matter to me, I don't multibox to make him happy.

Now if he tries to troll the forums with anti-MB arguments... /cracks knuckles
I am the exact opposite. I actively chat in the general chat with others, I help people when they ask, and because I run 4 I often pick up a pug doing the same quests just to be nice. I very much want the word out there that I do multi box, it is legal, and I'm not looking ruin anyone else’s experience in the game... At least till I hit 70 and then bring down the apocalypse upon any that oppose me. It does help on my server a great deal that Vyndree and Suvega are well established and known, which imo is keeping the flaming on me down. If I was the first multi boxer on a server I could definitely see more ppl asking WTF and harassing more, but most of the comments I get are "That’s awesome, multiboxing ftw". I have even had alliance that I /wave instead of /chain lightning on that hopped on their horde chars and chatted a bit.
