I remember the time when i didn't know about boxing. I saw 4 sham in a battle ground boxing, but i thought it was botting. I thought this because everyone was moving as one and doing the same thing. I was pissed off because it was ruing the bg. I kept writing notes to the GM saying that this person is botting. After i found out it was boxing and was legal, i was still saying how can boxing be legal (because i didn't know what boxing was), i thought that boxing = botting. The next day i did an internet search on boxing and found out what it was and this site. After reading i was like "oh, so it is one person not a computer controlling the accounts.... cool". 4 months later, here i am.
Granted i am not as thick skull as some other people, but once i knew it was a person and not a bot then i was ok with it. Now that i box myself i know how hard it is to do it. The other thing is the only way to know how to really truly beat a player is to play the class. I know how to kill a rogue easily with all my toons because i have a high level rogue and know how to play him... same goes for other classes. Like the warrior, when the symbol goes over his head i know what stance he is in because i have a warrior alt. I bet that all the high level boxers here know how to easily take down a boxer. It might not be 5v1 but you can probably do it 5v2 and have a much better chance 5v3, just because you have done boxing and know there weaknesses. I remember a post here from a dual boxing mage. He brought only 1 mage to bg and saw a 5 boxer sham. He knew what he was up against and had ideas on how to kill them. What he did was wait till the leader made a turn and he would use his dragon breathe and aoe, doing this has to make the boxer think quick and a non experienced boxer would die. The mage would have never knew this idea if he didn't box.
Sorry for the long response. Just my 2 cents.
