Some Guy Quits WoW Due to Blizzard's Apporval of Multiboxing

As I was haunting the Customer Service Forum, I noticed yet another MB QQ thread. So of course, I hop right into it. It mostly seemed like the usual trash, especially since it is over two months old (but it's a good one - Vyndree got a post in there when it was still new). Anyhow, the guy that thread-necro'ed this one threatened to quit (see post #14 http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...sid=1&pageNo=1 of that). This was just today, too. A few posts later (specifically, #17 on the same page) he actually claims to have closed his account.

This, I don't believe, has actually happened before in such an open way. I'm sure people have quit in a huff, but that's nothing new in the history of the world. I have a couple of questions for the nice folks here.

1) Do you think he actually canceled his subscription?
2) Do you think Blizzard cares?

I'm worried that we might start to see a large group of people doing this that actually mean it which might force Blizzard to do something drastic. Any thoughts?

1) Probably not. Trolls will be trolls.
2) Naw. People quit every day.

I suppose. Also, in post #41 of the same thread I linked above, some guy told Vyndree to 'get a life little girl.' His words, not mine. Many might not know this, but it is my birthday today and I would really like to see Vyndree hurt this guy bad.

Please? Okay, I suppose I've gotten enough. Let's see...

- Someone broke the NDA on the WotLK alpha
- Botters banned in droves
- Some guy got PO'ed at MBers in a way I've never seen before
- I just figured out the ultimate hardware setup for my MB style and how inexpensive it can get while maintaining quality

haha, in 2004 I told all of my friends I'd leave the US if my candadite didn't win. I've been abroad ever since.

Honestly, that's the first time I've actually heard of someone following through with that, even if it is unintentional (as you make it sound).
