Default I feel like giving up.

I try so hard, I work so hard for what for what I have accomplished, and where am I at? No were.

I watch all these videos of people just starting arenas right when they are 70 in blue pvp gear, not even full glads and they are pulling a solid 1500 - 1600 rating. How is this? I have farmed my ass off to get full glads, full vindicator's I got everything but my trinkets. I walk into a arena and get dropped like nothing. Whats my arena rating every week? 1400. I start a new team weekly. What am I doing wrong? Is it because I have crap for a healer? I TRY to take out DPS first that does not work. Going for the healers is a joke. Can it be because I am on the most messed up Battlegroup (Vengeance) where people at a 1500 rating are in full Vengeful gear?

I get so aggravated when this happens. Makes me want to give up and I am not the type of person to give up. I really don't know what to do anymore.

Keep at it. Just pay more attention to your losses. Having a good healer helps, but.. it is mostly you (esp at this rating).

This is insanely hard to respond to without insulting, even moreso because you don't know me. - here I go

I'm not sure how long you have been doing this for, but more than 10games a week is needed to learn how to react to certain combos.
Enchant your gear, unless armory is lying to me
Fraps fights, rewatch. Learn if you are still unable to figure out how to correct the losses, post some fights. People here seem nice, they can offer a few pointers.
I messed up a lot when my strategies sucked

Welp, my useless posting did nothing :P
    GL and don't give up!!

I do the 10 games because I get irritated when they are all a loss and don't want to drop below 1400 so I can at least get 300points.
I do have to enchant my gear, but it is not cheap.

I guess the only way is like you said, keep pushing at it, watch learn play more. Thanks.

and I can take criticism so don't worry.

I started with 9 losses 1 win the first week. And now in the third week, I still screwed up numorous times. I learned to respond quicker to still be able to win.

But that said, I have an amazing healer. He's really good at PvP. That helped me loads against s1/s2 geared people. But s3 is still outta my league. There are many s3 teams on lower rating, altho with the win trading bans this will become less of a problem I expect. So, just hang in there and gear up for next season. Do as much games as possible, really practice response time and strategies. Fraps fights and rewatch them. (helps me loads.)

Still, you should, always go for dps first. But don't be afraid to start on a target that isn't a good first target. Lightning bolt spam even forces the baddest geared s3 lock to go defensive. And that is what you should aim at. Apply constant pressure until a good first target is in dps range, switch, make the kill. Next target. But remember to keep applying pressure. This helped me a lot.

Arenas wind me up too...... They have been just so random for me.

One week we were really proud to get a 9-1 record, but that was mainly cos we met teams that were equal geared. Last 2 weeks we've met teams in full S3 or T6 that mow us down. Arenas feel like a constant game of gear catchup for me atm, Season 4 should alleviate this a bit as I have 75k and various marks saved up, but still.

Moan moan, I know it's not all gear, I've made plenty of mistakes that have led to losses too, but for me arenas aren't fun atm, roll on Wotlk and the gear reset, this way I'll start ahead and stay ahead.

recently, i was in AV on my main and all the talk was about these insane shammies. people were full of awe/fear/hate at the first rock team. people were arguing about reporting you and what multiboxing was. horde were insulting other horde in order to defend the honor of this daring draenei death squad. for 2 games in a row i laughed IRL ... i am sure you got reported...it seems like 5 people every BG have already "talked to a GM and know it's hax" LOL

please keep at it, you rock no pun intended heh heh.

    now i don't plan on doing arena with my three warlocks but it would say keep practicing, gear disparity is horrible but soon the new season will be out and might relevel the field slightly...then there’s always the expansion where you can be half an end-game raid in the new set up :}

I know what you mean about gear and match up. I have a non box arena team (my rogue and a druid friend). It is all luck on who you get. I am in the 1400 range all the time and we still go against fully s3 geared people. It has come down to it, if we see that they are season 3 we just give up cause they usually mow us down in 2 seconds. Blizzard needs to fix the matching s1 should not be going against s3. One week we won 8 out for 10 games because all the teams had no season gear. this week we went 2 out of 10 because the first 5 games where against the same team s3 warrior and s3 pally... Some how they were able to see us stealth (i can understand the druid cause he is a healer, but my rogue is assination with extra points in stealth and they still saw me a mile away without the seeing stealth buff).

What you can do for one week is just play as many games as you can to get practice (forget about the rating), once you are comfortable drop that arena team and make a new one. If you are making a new one every week, just forget about points and get practice that way you don't have to create on every week, probably do it every other week or something.

I would suggest reviewing your losses to see why you lose.

Also, my BG can get quite frustrating also. I kept running into this full S3 team with an enh shaman, ms war, rogue, and a shadow priest. Needless to say, I drop in a second flat.... The best part is they only took 2 points per game... yet we never got any1 else.

Also, when I started, and went from 1500 to 1275, I was playing mostly s2/s3 teams, all of which were good (took a look at me multi boxing, and improvised a good strat.). Plus a few of them had seen MBers before.

Just keep queing, I was the same as you, I was so pissed and ready to give up, and then I played Monday night with a (well geared, all s3 but shoulders) disc priest, and we jumped up to 1500. Not because he was good, but more because I finally got teams that were my level. Same thing tues night at raid time, we got 80% legit teams, that were even fights.

I say just get yourself a better geared healer, and play play play. Ever night, just keep trying.

I have hit "The Rock Wall" in AV and I say don't give up. We are in a tough battlegroup and I know the Horde fear you in Bg's. When the expac comes it will be a complete gear reset and a totally different story, and until then keep up your hard work. It will pay off.

This is my first post so hello everyone. I play 3 Orc Locks on Mug'thol with felguards. I know totally ridiculous but really fun.
