Someone had a great idea of starting your own guild and putting all crafting items in the Gbank. I don't think it makes sense to level anything other than herbalism, chanting, and alchemy on your way up. Those professions will help a lot while you level, others not so much.

Maybe tailoring so you can make bolts of cloth, and reduce the number of slots that things take up, and give you chanting mats.
