Default New multiboxer saying hallo and asking for tips

Hei everyone for a few weeks ago I decided to try this out, and it seems to be working fine much more challanging then just playing 1.

Now on to my big plan of doom:

Currently I just dualbox, a priest and a warlock (holy and demo, respectivly).
I got another account that was hacked, and currently waiting to get it back (europe btw /sigh)

In the beggining I wanted to do 5 box, but firstly my computer don't handle it too well, and also it's going to be expensive, so I'll take it easy in the begging and at low lvls, 3 skilled chars slightly over the normal lvl range usaly can handle instances too...

Anyways; what to do further now? I'm thinking about adding another warlock when I get back my original account. Then I also can add 2 more warlocks if I got over to 5. If so, suggestions on spec? mostly, affli/demo/destro, and why etc, don't need an exact spec, that one I figure out myself :>

Originally, I thought about 1 pala, 1 priest, 1 lock and 2 mages, but as I will only 3 box for a while, I don't realy figure it out yet. and it's a bit more complicated, kinda like the warlock team idea too

What do you guys think? Anyone with experience with 2/4 warlocks and a priest for healing? Eventually, what playstile is funnyest/most challanging/effective

    Thank you in advance

From experience with warlocks I would say that:

funniest - Felguard (Demo). Farming heaven. Just charge into groups of mobs, tap them all with CoA and let the felguards do the rest.

most challenging - Destruction. I kinda just had to pick something here. The biggest disadvantage destro locks have in PvE is mana issues and survivabilty. But with a holy priest those two are negated (lifetap + renew). This will still require more skill though than casting 3-4 dots and watching everything die.

effective - I would say Felguard spec would definetly be the most effective as well, but with 2-3 warlocks, Affliction will rain supreme as far as killing power. 3XCoA, 3Xcorruption, 3X siphon life, 3X unstable affliction. I doubt the mob would last long enough to finish your dot rotation. Again mana will be an issue, but not so much with Lifetap+renew

As a side note, I would spec your preist Shadow for leveling. If your locks are demo spec you can health funnel to heal your pets, and vamp will heal the rest. Plus the shadow weaving bonus is very nice.

I was thinking about going shadow when I got those bonuses to spelldmg. But for the healing part, is that from instances you're thinking about as 4 locks and a priest? just so I'm sure what you're talking about

Thanks alot for the other information too

I have not tried a priest + 4 lock combo in instances, but basically if you combine drain life with vamp embrace that should provide more than enough healing to take down anything (assuming the lock is tanking and not his/her pet)

Sounds like fun to me maybe a sl/sl build, as vamp would heal the pet, dunno, not even close to that yet but gonna try with priest + 2 lock and see how it goes, then join up with another 2 locks when I feel the need of more or something else, I'll think about it agein then.

And for 5 boxing; my computer currently handles 3x wow fine, but 5 get's a bit, bad, unless it's in a area without any moobs or players (lol). My graphic card is fine, but currently I got 1 gig ram and a 3.2 GHz CPU (single core, know it's bad but it's 4 years old, was good then ) atm I'm waiting for 2 more gigs to come in the mail, do you guys think that might solve it anought to be doable somehow, or do I HAVE to get a multicore cpu first? The reason I don't buy it right awey is that I got the 2 gigs of ram for 350 NKR (about 70us$) and the cpu is going to cost about 1500 NRK (almost 300us$) which I'm not going to spend if I don't realy have to any thoughts? I don't care about fps, I can play with 10 fps and stil be happy, it IS playable, just not pretty

Sorry for the wall of tekst, didn't find another way of writing this.

My original rig was a single core CPU, 8600 graphics card, 2 gigs, and XPx32. I was able to run 5 clients using keyclone without any problems out in the world. I had to turn down/off all graphic effects to be able to run through Org though.

From everything I have read on the forums, the biggest issue with running multiple wow's is RAM. Since you will have 3 gigs now, I doubt you will have trouble running 5.
