    Default Random player runs off....

    Since I have started doing more mele with my shammies, I have set my wow to 'attack on assist'. Since then, and it may just be coincidence, randomly one of my five will take off running into the distance. If I am alert, I can hit my big button and get his attention back, but on occasion, I look to the other screen to see him dead 500 yards in the distance.

    I am using 2 pc's and recently updated to the latest keyclone. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

    that is called the 'run aways'... if you have WASD on the do-not-pass (DNP) list, then anytime you hit shift+WASD.. you can hit the run-aways.

    with v1.8i i introduced 'strict' to the DNP. this is basically the old way of doing the DNP.. where you would have to specify every possible key. unchecking strict and any modified version of the key will be blocked... thereby avoiding the run-away

    if you want to use strict.. then just add shift+WASD, ctrl+WASD and alt+WASD to the DNP.

    i agree with Funsphere, only way i catch run aways is using Xpearl i can see my groups casting bars, and i like the way they look when they are all casting and if one isn't casting i'm like wtf? and i look down and try to catch his ass before he gets the rest of the group killed.

    Let them hate, as long as they fear.

    Aye I had it happen with AHK and even when not multiboxing(got stuck on autorun somehow till I hit the direction I was running)

    It can be funny sometimes though...I'm chasing down the Defias Messenger on Saturday...I see him running into the North-most mine...I target him and hit my assist hotkey and unshift from ghost wolf...run through a whole mob of normal Defias figuring "hey I'll be okay I got 5 on my side" and pull the whole lot of them on me while trying to Shock the Messenger before he gets inside the Mine...when I realize there's noone behind me. Cue "WTF" moment...I pan my camera around wondering wheretf they went...only to see them miles away, running ahead down the road, almost completely out of view range.

    Launch Palm to Face missles, "GODDAMNIT YOU STUPID TARDS.", hit shift+W to stop them and start kiting the Messenger over to them, nearly dying in the process with 5 other defias on me besides him, barely get into range and drop stoneclaw totems to get 'em off, cast 5 rank 1 heals on main to get him up n running then proceed to wtfpwn them and loot my quest item. lol

    I found I could recreate the runaway by hitting my spread out key before my alts catch up. It seems the same client runs off every time. I got good at catching him (when I got in a hurry and caused it) but now I also stop short and move up (to groups) together using wasd for main and arrows for alts/followers.

    This sounds plausable. I've been watching closely and have observed it only happens when I hit my big button (target, follow, assist). And it can be any one of the four following. It is strange, however, that it would be follow, as you'd think the follow would fail once they were out of range.
