Introducing me and my 5-boxing team.

Hey buds,

It took a while to get motivated enough to get the to around level 15, I was really bored in some kind a way. Today I was in a good mood and started leveling my team. I went from 10 to 19 today and I'm really starting to have fun now. So thats why I decided to create a thread about my team.

My team currently consists of 4 characters. Fifth is coming, waiting for my account (Got some problems on that one).

1 Human Priest (Female), 1 Human Warlock(Male), 2 Human Mages(Male). And the fifth is going to be a human bubbleboy prolly.

So today I entered Deadmines, did it 10000000000* times before so I know all the ins and the outs. Anyway, I thought all was well and started to pull mobs, the non-elites were no problem just the normal nuke and they went down in a matter of seconds. When I got further at the elites my ass was being kicked like crazy, a sign that I was doing something terribly wrong.

The problem was that when someone in my party got aggro other then the tank I got stressed and started pressing all kind of keys except the one I had to press, that ended up with my voidwalker running into a full pack of mobs which ofcourse wiped us. Now I got pretty frustrated here and started to look at my priest macro's. I deleted all the macros on that toon and started to rewrite them. I now have them binded to my Z-X-V-F-G-T keys. the first 5 are just just for the five party members and the T is for my voidwalker. I also put in a modifier. I.E. if I press Alt+Z it does a greater heal on that char and when I press Z it does a lesser heal. All went well after that, just a couple of chars dying because I was to busy positioning my dps.

Basically I think I will do fine, learned allot today and really really LOVE doing instances and the feeling that I am able to manage 5 chars at the same time and beating bosses other people need 5 actual persons for is just awesome.



Well, just wanted to share it with you guys. I will be posting some screenshots soon here, I will also keep this thread updated as I will be leveling towards level 70.

Oh for those who wanna know, I am playing on Dentarg(EU). (Only multiboxer on the server AFAIK.)

Cleared entire DeadMines today, only 1 wipe at vancleef because of shitload of adds bashin my tank. Healer went oom just after VC died. Got a Soulstone tho so no problem at all

Thanks for the welcome, yeah I cant wait to enter SM. I think it really comes down to skill to clear it on your own. I will keep you informed in this thread and I will be posting screenshots tonight when I get home from work.

if you go for a Pally tank on your last account things will go so easily come lvl 20 Consecrate is such a powerful tanking tool

Yeah, I got 4 acc's atm. But I found a level 20 paladin willing to tank for me and he does quite well atm. As you can read I only had 1 wipe last DM run. It's going really smooth and my healing is really improving. I used to focus so much on positioning and dpsing that I forgot to heal. Anyway things are improving and I already like it way to much.

If my memory serves me right it would be you that killed my alliance 70pvp warrior with 5 chain lightings while i was taunting you from above lol fairplay and nice dmg!
